SkiAbility Algoma Gone Skiing Event in Sault Ste. Marie Ontario

I’ve always been aware that Sault Ste. Marie and the surrounding area is home to many fine charities and volunteer groups who do a lot of good throughout the community. However, it was while I was attending the Rotaryfest Community Parade on July 20th that I was handed a one-page brochure by the saints at SkiAbility Algoma outlining their upcoming events.

In my opinion, SkiAbility Algoma does something truly remarkable and beautiful – they provide an opportunity for persons with various disabilities to experience the joy of water skiing. I was unprepared for how moved I was when I visited their webpage and Facebook pages containing galleries of smiling faces on the water, enjoying an activity that otherwise would be inaccessible.
