LopLops has an incredible musical lineup that is sure to please even the most sophisticated ears this week as they celebrate a decade of providing live music to Sault Ste. Marie. 10 years have passed since LopLops opened their doors and provided new original music to the downtown core. To celebrate, they have some pretty exciting acts coming in this week. Guitarist and backing vocals for Canadian rock band, The Tragically Hip; Paul Langlois comes to Sault Ste. Marie to promote his new solo CD “Not Guilty”. Since 1983 Paul Langlois has been part of the Canadian musical fabric and a staple of our cultural musical identity. This is a great opportunity to see one of Canada’s most beloved artist in a relaxed and intimate atmosphere.
Fans of the site thechive.com are invited to attend a Chive Nation Unofficial Meetup this Thursday. It should be a great party if this page is any indication of what to expect.
Sunparlour Players are an incredible trio from southern Ontario who’s live energy and rawness is infectious. Their live act is a guaranteed fun time for indie music fans. Come see them this Friday and pick up a copy of their latest album “Us Little Devils”
One of the Sault’s best guitarists, Jay Case will be rounding out the week with a special performance. A familar musician to LopLops and one of the best kept secrets in Sault Ste Marie, you can come check out Jay’s original music this Saturday December 7th.
