A Sexy Night Out For A Good Cause

A night of entertainment, dance and great food is in store for the Burlesque By Pearl dinner and show Saturday night at the Northern Grand Gardens. The cast tells us there are still a few tickets left and they are even having a matinee earlier in the day.

Merisa Dinner who runs, Dinners Dance Theatre tells SaultOnline that the fundraiser aims at helping the Sault College wig program and Breast Cancer. “Everyone is touched by cancer and we want to help out where we can.”

The evening starts at 5:30pm with kissing and photo booths followed by a dinner with live music and door prizes. The focus then moves to the stage where “we wow our audiences with dancers , both female and male – professional and rookie” says Merisa.

Sault Online caught up with some of the dancers during rehearsal and talked to Katie Bobcock, a local Burlesque Dance Instructor to talk what it takes to be a burlesque dancer.
