Saturday March 29, 2014. Peacefully passed way in his 88th year in Figline Vegliaturo, Italy with his family by his side.
Beloved husband of the late Santa. Cherished and loving father of John (Anna), Gaspere (Eva). Proud and loving Nonno of Joe (Emily), Anthony, Melissa (Todd), Amanda, Santina (Daniele) and Giuseppe. Great grandfather of Ava. Loving son of the late Francesco and Carmela, son-in-law of the late Carmela and Bruno Coccimiglio. Giuseppe is survived by his sister Maria (late Giuseppe) Pagnotta and predeceased by his brother Antonio (late Francesca), Eugenio (Francesca) and Giovanni. Brother-in-law of the late Eugenio and Anna Coccimiglio. Brother in law of the late Anna and Antonio Marta. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
We were truly blessed to have had such a loving and selfless father/Nonno who taught us the true meaning of life. A hard worker who guided us with his wisdom, a gentle voice and loving smile. Dad always said the true importance of life is family and always to love and take care of one another. We will greatly miss hearing his voice with our weekly phone calls and skyping.
Giuseppe is now resting comfortably and safely in the arms of his beloved wife Santa and in the house of our Lord, and it is this image that gives us a sense of peace.
Memorial Mass will be held Friday, April 4, 2014 at 7 p.m. St. Gregory’s parish, 71 Estelle St. Rev. Alex Saurlanthadathil officiating.
Daddy rest in peace, you are forever in our hearts and prayers. Riposa in pace.
