FLYNN-PatrickWell known hairdresser for the last 50 years on Queen Street in Sault Ste. Marie entered his eternal rest and heavenly Home on Monday, April 7, 2014, at the age of 91.

Patrick was born in Northern Ireland, and was a heroic veteran of World War II. He was the beloved husband of the late Herta Flynn. He is the loving brother of Grace in Australia, David in London, England, Mary McNeilly of Bangor, N. Ireland, and the late Bena, Eddy and James. Patrick will be missed by his nieces and nephews, his customers and friends and especially by his church family at Believers Bible Chapel.

A quote from the book, Pilgrim’s Progress seems so fitting for Patrick:

“I see myself now at the end of my journey, my toilsome days are ended. I am going to see that Head that was crowned with thorns, and that face that was spit upon for me.

I have formerly lived by hearsay and faith but now I go where I shall live by sight, and shall be with Him in whose company I delight myself.

I have loved to hear my Lord spoken of; and wherever I have seen the print of His shoe in the earth, there I have coveted to set my foot to.”

Friends may call at Arthur Funeral Home on Thursday, April 10, 2014 from 12:30 pm until 2:30 pm.

Funeral service to follow in the chapel at 3 pm. Mr. Wes DiPietro and Mr. Joe Reese officiating. Interment at Greenwood Cemetery.

Memorial contributions to the Gideons would be appreciated.
