45 year old James Guertin of 78 Grace St., apt 2. is in custody charged with assault, assault with a weapon, forcible confinement and threatening after an incident earlier today where he became involved in a fight with another male known to him.
During the incident it is alleged that he threatened the victim and his family, refused to let the victim leave while armed with a knife and struck the victim with the blunt end of an axe.
The victim did not require medical attention. Guertin will appear in bail court this morning.
