Argument Leads To Arrest

On April 30, 2014 police responded to an incident in the Wellington Street West area involving the accused and a female known to her. A verbal argument ensued and it is alleged that the accused punched the victim in the face. A jewelry box was then damaged by the accused and the victim was then threatened by the accused. Police located the accused on May 1, 2014 in the Cameron Street area. The accused Margaret Elizabeth Richer age 44 of 345 St. Georges Avenue, Apt. # 210 was arrested for assault, threatening death and mischief under $5000. The accused will appear in bail court on May 2, 2014 at 10:00am.
