On May 17th, City Police officers observed a male known to them who was wanted on an outstanding warrant. 18 year old Dylan Daigle of Cathcart St. was arrested for failing to appear for fingerprints. It was also determined that he had moved without notifying the Police, which was part of a Recognizance he was on. He was further charged with Breaching a Recognizance and will be appearing in Provincial Court on June 23rd.
On May 18, 2014 the accused Jody Leo Burns (Pearce) was seen in the area of the Howard Johnson on Trunk Road. A check of the individual was done and revealed that the accused was on an undertaking from Sudbury with a condition to report any change of address. The accused failed to inform Sudbury police that he is living in the Sault. The accused Jody Leo Burns, age 20 of no fixed address was arrested for breach of undertaking and will appear in WASH Court (weekend and statutory holiday court) on May 19, 2014.
Damage to Vehicle
In the early morning hours of May 17th a male damaged a driver’s side mirror of a truck parked in the 1000 block of McNabb St. Investigation revealed that 21 year old Kyle Jones of Black Rd. was the person who was responsible and in the evening of May 17th he was arrested for Mischief. Mr. Jones will be appearing in Provincial Court June 23rd.
Shoplifting Pills
It is alleged that 31 year old Joseph Marrello of Cathcart St. attended the Market Mall Pharmacy on May 15th and stole some pills. On May 17th, Mr. Marrello attended to the City Police Station to turn himself in with regards to this theft. He will be appearing in Provincial Court on June 23rd as well.
