Break and Enter : Overnight a residence in the 700 block of Wellington Street East was entered. The entire home was ransacked and a flat screen television and a computer went missing.

Mischief: Overnight the side window of a vehicle was shot out by a culprit with a BB gun. This occurred in the 200 block of Bruce Street.

The basement window of a residence was smashed out in the 200 block of Fourth Avenue. It does not appear that entry was gained into the residence.

Three windows were smashed overnight at the Children’s Aid Society at 191 Northern Avenue.

Bear Sighting: A bear was seen in the 700 block of Brule road this morning. Police are asking the public to be aware not to leave garbage that may attract the animals as they are very hungry and searching for food.
