City Police Blotter Sunday May 25th

On May 25, 2014, at approximately 11:50am, officers with the Ontario Provincial Police were conducting a RIDE check on HWY 17E near Thessalon. As a result of a vehicle and records check OPP officers arrested 25 year old Jordan Morrar of 36 Nichol St, SSM on outstanding warrants held by the Sault Ste.
Marie Police Service.

Morrar was returned to the custody of the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service and stands charged with breaching the recognizance of his bail release and failing to attend to have his finger prints taken. He will be appearing in bail court May 26, 2014 at 10:00am.

MISCHIEF
Sometime during the early morning hours of May 25, 2014 a number of vehicles parked in an underground parking garage in the area of Pine St and Queen St had their windows broken.

BREAK AND ENTERS
Sometime overnight unknown persons forced entry into a residence in the 0-100 block of Princess Crest. The suspects removed a screen from a back window and broke the window to gain entry. A small amount of cash was taken.
