While on routine patrol last night, City Police officers observed a vehicle drive through a stop sign at Black Rd. and Old Garden River Rd. and proceeded onto Old Garden River Rd. crossing over the centre line on at least 2 occasions.
The vehicle was pulled over and it was determined that the male driver had been drinking. As a result, 50 year old Patrick Towell of Hwy. 17 North was charged with impaired driving and consuming over the legal limit.
He will be appearing in Provincial Court on June 30th.
