The PUC began their Unidirectional Flushing Program on Monday at the corner of McNabb and Adeline Ave. It will be a summer long endeavour and will continue into the fall.
The process begins by closing all the valves in the area and then the pump that services the area. Once this is done, the hydrant is opened and the flushing begins.
The PUC urges customers not to use any water during the flushing activities on their street so as not to avoid drawing discoloured water into their house.
