As first reported by Saultonline.com Monday, close to $700,000 of marijuana was seized as a result of a traffic stop last Wednesday.
A white van was stopped when a driving complaint was made to the Sault Ste. Marie detachment of the OPP. Shortly after the van was stopped and searched. The bags of pot was concealed in building materials, insulation boards.
But what happens to the pot once it’s in the hands of the police?
