Kristina’s Krush Celebrates 2nd Year In Business

Youth entrepreneur Kristina Koprash is kicking off her second year in business with her new clothing store Krush. Last year at age 18, she applied for and received a Young Entrepreneur Grant from the Northern Ontario Heritage Fund for $25,000 to assist in starting up her new business.

Kristina says that her first year in business has been so successful that she decided to expand, moving a few doors down to a larger space so that she could add to the selection of styles and sizes Krush now offers.

“I’ve also brought in a great selection of plus size items! There’s many women who come in and unfortunately cannot fit the typical sizes I carry (S, M, and Large) as my brands are made small! I decided to bring in new brands that carry sizes XL-3XL as well as my usual brands in order to accommodate women of all shapes and sizes! There aren’t many stores in the Soo that carry plus sizes and those that do don’t carry the fashionable styles that I’ve brought in!”

This weekend Krush changes to summer hours, open Tuesday to Saturday from 11am to 7pm and Sundays from 12pm to 6pm. To celebrate both her second year and new location, Kristina has a Buy One Get One 50% off sale this weekend. Krush is located just a few doors down from the Totem Pole Gift Shop on Great Northern Road in the Trading Post complex.

Congratulations Kristina and we wish you great success in your new venture!
