Husband of the late Anne-Marie. Father of Deanna Huizing (late Chris), Kim (Sue), Robbie (Sandy), Dawn Marie Hope (Steve), and the late Brian (Donna). Grandfather of 13 and great grandfather of 14. Brother of Iona Katajamaki (late Edwin), and predeceased by Margaret Jikinosky (John), Ethel Dale (late Melvin), Herb (late Lola), Leonard (Lily), Lorne, Gladys Eddy (late Alvin), and Eleanor Kelly (late Fred). Brother-in-law of Margaret Featherston (Donald), Louis Burns (Anna), Edgar Burns (Fran), Albert Burns, Irene Lanniagan (late Mike), Aline Berlinguette (late Maurice), Diane Burns, Danny Burns (Vicky), Michael Burns (Joanne), the late Alice Lorenzi (Bernie), and the late Patrick Burns (Pam). Survived by many nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home and Cremation Centre on Monday, May 5, 2014 from 6 – 9 pm. Memorial Service to be celebrated from Victoria Presbyterian Church on Wednesday, May 7, 2014 at 11 am. Rev. Deon Slabbert officiating. Interment Prince Township Cemetery.
