In a whirlwind election stop over in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario Premiere and Liberal leader, Kathleen Wynne met with students at Holy Cross Elementary School Tuesday to tout her government’s commitment to education in Ontario.
Wynne announced $150 million three year program for the Technology and learning fund. After touring the school, Wynne met with reporters for a quick question and answer session.
Wynne was asked about the Liberal government’s commitment to Sault Ste. Marie, she confirmed once again that the Liberal plan is to keep the headquarters for OLG in the Sault but dodged a question about where the CEO of the corporation should work from. “The Liberal government brought those jobs to the Sault and it’s the Liberal government that will keep them here” MPP David Orazietti said.
