For some, opening up a restaurant in the Industrial park would probably seem like a bad idea, but Wendy Marasco doesn’t think so.

Marasco is set to open Park Grille, a new diner that will help feed  over 1,500 people that work in the Industrial park area off Great Northern Road. The diner is catering to the men and women who work in a number of businesses and park-grille-insidemanufacturing companies but is also open to the general public with breakfast, lunch and dinner five days a week Monday Through Friday.

Marasco owned and operated Cupcakez on Great Northern Road for several years before jumping at an opportunity that opened up when a food vending trailer closed leaving a void at lunchtime for workers in the Industrial park area.

“Great Northern Road can be so busy and when the trailer wasn’t opening we saw a great opportunity buy opening a restaurant here” Marasco said.

Three months into renovating a warehouse on Industrial Park Crescent , Park Grille offers a comfortable and bright atmosphere along with both breakfast and lunch buffets , customers can also order from the menu. A take out dinner for two is also offered.

“We have big portions, we want the men and women that work here to leave full” Marasco said.

The Park Grille will open for business over the next two weeks, Marasco and staff are currently hosting guests and workers in the park for trial runs. “We’re all about fast, we’re convenient and we have great food all made from scratch”
