Peacefully, at home among family on Friday May 2, 2014.
Beloved wife of the late Jose. Cherished mother of Joe (Cathleen), Adriano (Marnie) and Perry (Anne, her special angel). Loving Vova of her five treasured grandchildren, Adrian, Aaron, Ryan, Matthew and her little princess Lauren. Best friend and sister to Maria (late Julio) and late Prazeres, brothers Ze-Luis (Lourdes), late Antonio (Alcina). Adored aunt to Adriana Cunha and Teresa Duraes (Tony), Andrea and Deanne. Dear sister-in-law to Helen Vilaca (late Fernando). She will be sadly missed by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends here and in her beloved Portugal, and especially in her beautiful village of Ponte da Barca.
Beatriz leaves behind a shining example of God’s love at work on this earth.
Friends are invited to visit at St. Jerome’s Church (Carmel St.) on Wednesday, May 7, 2014 from 10:30 am – 12:30 pm, funeral mass to follow at 1 pm.
