Celia Ross, NDP candidate for Sault Ste. Marie, cast her vote for change today at Cara Community Centre.
“The act of casting my ballot always drives home to me how fortunate we are to have the right to vote,” Ross said. “There are many people across the globe struggling to gain this right that we sometimes take for granted.”
Advance polls are open throughout Ontario and will be open until Friday, June 6.
“If you want change that makes sense, it’s important to vote early,” Ross said. “If you want to remove the Liberal government that wasted your money on eHealth, Ornge, the gas plants and now MaRS, you need to vote early. If you want to stop the Hudak Conservatives, who want to fire 100,000 people but can’t do basic math, you need to vote early.”
“Today, I voted for a government that will stop the corruption, respect our tax dollars and make life more affordable.”
