On June 26, 2014 an accused male age 43 was arrested by officers of the Technological Crime Unit of the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service and charged with Internet Luring.
It is alleged that between February 1, 2014 and June 14, 2014 the accused initiated a friendship on Facebook with a child under the age of 16 years. Inappropriate conversation and photos were exchanged. A warrant was executed and electronic equipment was seized.
The accused will appear in bail court on June 27, 2014 at 10:00am.
