Former Sudbury Wolves Fan Takes Over as Chief of Police

1

Monday’s swearing in of our new Chief of Police took place on Tuesday at City Hall. Even though it was emotional at times, Judge Greco kept it light hearted as he usually does. He is worth the price of admission.

Bob Keetch takes over the reins from, Bob Davies who had served in that position for seventeen years. When asked why he considered taking this job, he said that he liked what our police service has done and likes where it is heading. He also stated that he has a couple of more ideas he plans to institute.

Even though he kept a stiff upper lip, you could tell that the emotion was there. He takes over immediately but Davies will be there until July 2nd.

When told that this is Greyhound Country, he said that he would definitely become a Greyhound fan so expect to see him at the games.

  1. It was time for a change, best wishes to Bob in his retirement.
I’m sure the new chief has some fresh ideas and is more familiar with the growing cyber crime.
