After exhaustive renovations, General Manager Domenic Ruscio and his team celebrated the Grand Opening of Days Inn & Suites Sault Ste. Marie yesterday. Located in the heart of the Downtown area, the former department store has seen a massive transformation into a premiere hotel which includes 19 luxurious whirlpool rooms, 12 junior suites with air tubs as well as a of other amenities such as business class rooms with large work areas and even an exercise facility. Guests even enjoy complimentary covered parking and hot breakfast.
Mayor Debbie Amaroso, MPP David Orazietti and Irwin Prince, President & COO of Realstar Hospitality were on hand for a ribbon cutting ceremony followed by tours of the new meeting & conference facilities (up to 250 people) and newly renovated rooms. Domenic was also kind enough to let SaultOnline take a peek at his own special project; a two storey suite boasting a living area with pull-out sofa, fire place, bathroom and kitchen with cathedral ceiling on the first floor transitioning up a stairway to a separate bedroom area with two queen beds and another bathroom.
All we can say is AWESOME Domenic! Best wishes on your new venture!
