Passed away on Sunday June 1, 2014 at the age of 58.
Loving son of Stella Mattalo (Trus) and the late John Mattalo. Brother of Wayne (Colleen) Mattalo and Michael (Dorothy) Mattalo. Uncle of Darren, Christian (Sarah), Stephanie, Stephan, Brandon, and Kevin Mattalo.
Peter is fondly remembered as a talented baseball and hockey in his youth. With an equal number of goals and penalty minutes to his credit, Peter had a competitive spirit to win and leadership to captain the teams he played on. Peter also had a passion for drag racing and a lifelong dream to race his own car, which he was well on his way to accomplish this year before his untimely passing.
An Interment service will be held on Thursday June 12, 2014 at 11:00am at the Chapel at Greenwood Cemetery.
