On The Look Out For A Rusty Orange SUV

Officers from Investigation Services are continuing to follow-up an assault that took place in the early morning hours of June 21st on Dennis Street.

An adult male observed two males approach a vehicle in a neighbour’s driveway and jiggle the door handles. The male approached the two males and confronted them. One of the males pushed the victim and also threw a punch. The victim punched back and hit the male.

The males then walked away. The male who struck the victim is described as being a white male, 20 years of age, 5 feet 10 inches, average build with shaggy brown hair and a light coloured t-shirt. The second male was described as being Aboriginal, 20 years old, six feet one inch tall, skinny building with dark clothing and a ball cap worn backwards. He may have had an Adidas jacket as well.

The first victim received injuries to his hand but did not require medical attention. The first victim went and told a friend in the residence what had transpired.

Shortly after a rusty orange SUV pulled up to the residence and four guys ran to the house but left. The friend called 911 and the four males left.

A short time late the SUV returned again. The friend was outside and one of the males in the van had a pipe and struck him. The second victim was stuck in the leg and face area. The second victim did require medical treatment for non-life threatening injuries.

The male who hit the second victim is described as an Aboriginal male, 5 feet 8 inches tall, with short black hair. The male was between 20 to 30 years old, 160 pounds to 170 pounds and was wearing a white t-shirt, jeans and possibly a black jacket or shirt over the t-shirt.

The vehicle is described as being a rusty orange SUV, similar to a Pathfinder, with a boxy shape.
