The Martineau family announce with profound sadness the passing of a husband, father and brother John Clarence Martineau at the Sault Area Hospital on Thursday, June 26, 2014 at the age of 69.
Youngest son of the late Clarence and Helen Martineau. Beloved husband and best friend to Cheryl for 33 years. Proud father of Jason and Travis (Morgan and Gus). Dear brother to Danny (late Una), Greta (Barry Rydal), Lyle (Sharon), predeceased by brother Ross (Ellen), and sister Mary (Jack Wheeler). Son-in-law and dear friend to Florence McCauley (late Herman). Brother-in-law to Marilyn (Kim Smith) and Janice (John Clement). He will be missed by many friends, nieces and nephews.
Graveside service will take place at Greenwood Cemetery on Wednesday, July 2, 2014 at 3:30pm. Mrs. Helen Smith officiating (Please meet at the Cemetery Chapel for 3:15pm). A celebration of life will take place at the Comfort Suites & Conference Centre (Great Lakes Room) (229 Great Northern Rd) on Wednesday, July 2nd, 2014 from 6 – 9pm.
