Peacefully at Maple View Extendicare on June 15, 2014 at the age of 84.
Loving mother of Gary (Paula), Cathy (Kevin), Donald (Kelly), late Charles “Chuck” and the late Dave. Cherished grandma of Yvonne (Lars), Réjeanne (Nick), late Mark, Sarah (Kevin), Rebecca (Alex) and Lindsey (Leo), Great grandma of Matteus, Alec, Kayla, Hunter, Kaylee and Addison. Predeceased by her parents William Coleman and Lillian Stonehouse and by her sisters Lena and Inez, brother Carl and husband Delbert.
She will be fondly remembered for her uplifting sense of humour, spirited story-telling, feisty personality and kind heart. Her country upbringing induced a love and appreciation for nature which she continually nurtured: from travelling the world to simply observing goldfinches hopping in the yard. She will be missed dearly.
A private family service will be held at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre. A cryptside service will take place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery Mausoleum Niche Wall on Wednesday, June 18, 2014 at 3:30 pm. Mr. John Maccarone officiating. (Please meet at cemetery chapel for 3:15 pm).
