David Orazietti is heading back to Queen’s Park and a fourth term as Sault Ste. Marie MPP. Voters showed huge support for Orazietti taking an early lead as the polls came in Thursday night. NDP’s Celia Ross, once again placing second with her second attempt to take the Sault Riding. Rod Fremlin, as expected placed a distant third in the riding.
Voters in Ontario have given the Liberals a majority government making the election a “miscue” for the NDP who triggered the election and held the balance of power in the last legislature voting against the Liberal budget tabled in April.
