At approximately 2:18am officers observed a vehicle heading eastbound on Wellington St. E. towards Pim St. at an extremely high rate of speed. When they were able to reach the vehicle they found that it had failed to negotiate the turn at Wellington and East St. and crashed into the guard rail.
The driver of the vehicle, Steven Turco, age 29, of 27 Terry Fox Place was arrested and charged with fail to provide a breath sample. He will appear in court on 14 July 2014.
