Truck Meets Pole

TRUCK-POLE-ACCIDENT-1A single vehicle accident on McNabb St. caused extensive damage to the front end of a late model GMC Yukon truck. There were no apparent injuries. Fire services, Police services and the electrical unit from the PUC were there to take care of the matter.

 

 

From City Police

TRUCK-POLE-2On the13th of June 2014 at 8:15 pm City Police attended at a single Motor Vehicle Collision at McNabb Street and Campbell Avenue, a vehicle hit a hydro pole. Officers noted that the driver appeared to be under the influence of alcohol. As a result of the investigation 33 year old Jeffrey Syrette of 160 Frontenac Street was arrested and charged with Care and Control while ability impaired and over .80. He will appear in court on July 14th, 2014.

 

Another Incident

On the 14th of June 2014 at 2:20am City Police observed a possible impaired driver on Second Line West.  The vehicle had no headlights on and was weaving side to side crossing two lanes at a time.  Officers noted that the driver appeared to be under the influence of alcohol. As a result of the investigation 33 year old Robyn Eshkibok of 416 Old Garden River Road was arrested and charged with over .80.  She will appear in Court on July 14th.
