On the 21st of June just after 3 am officers on routine patrol observed a vehicle driving in an erratic manner in the area of John Street and Conmee Avenue.
Officers stopped the vehicle and noted that the driver showed signs of impairment. During the investigation officers also located an open bottle of beer and 54 grams of marihuana.
As a result 38-year old Douglas Baxter of 278 North Street was charged with one count of consume over the legal limit and one count of possession of a controlled drug or substance. He will appear in court on July 21st.
