Wheel Chair Ramps Stolen


The East Algoma detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) in Elliot Lake is asking the public for help to identify the person(s) responsible for the theft of aluminum wheel chair ramps.

On May 30, 2014 at 7:30 a.m. officers from the Elliot Lake detachment of the OPP were called to a theft on Brunet Road in Elliot Lake. Officers learned that a 30 foot long aluminum wheel chair ramp that was 3 feet wide with attached railing and a 4’x4’platform valued at $3500.00 had been stolen from a residence.
