Update On Four Vehicle Crash (Video Added)

UPDATE FROM CITY POLICE

At approximately 12:50 pm on the 8th of July the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service and Sault Fire Services attended at the intersection of Second Line East and Carmen’s Way for a motor vehicle collision involving injuries.

Officers from Patrol Services are just clearing from the scene.  Traffic was re-routed from the area for a short period of time until the involved vehicles were removed from the intersection.

Four vehicles were involved in the collision; two persons were taken by ambulance to the hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

The investigation is continuing.

 

PREVIOUS REPORT

A four vehicle crash around the lunch hour on Second Line sent at least one person to hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Sault Ste. Marie Emergency services along with city police and fire services responded to the crash.

No details are available surrounding the crash, however two vehicles sustained heavy front end damage from what appears to be a head on crash.

The collision occurred at John Street and Second Line.  This story will be updated when information becomes available.
