On July 28th, 2014 at 4:35 PM officers from the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service Criminal Investigations arrested and charged 48 year old male Armand Mackenzie of 751 Pine Street apartment 212 with one count of Sexual Assault.
It is alleged that on July 26th, 2014 at 9:40 AM the accused Mackenzie had initiated a conversation with the female victim in the parking lot of the Pine Plaza then reached out and touched the female’s breast over top of her clothing.
The accused and victim are not known to one another.
The Sault Ste. Marie Police Service would like to thank the public for their assistance in this incident as we received a number of phone calls that assisted investigators with identifying and locating the accused.
The accused Mackenzie is scheduled to attend court on September 8th, 2014.

The Sault Ste. Marie Police Service is seeking the assistance from the public in locating a male who sexually assaulted an adult female behind the Pine St. Plaza near Allard St. on the 26th of July 2014 at approximately 9:40 am. The male is described as: Caucasian, around 45yrs old, 5’5” tall, average build, balding with grey sides, wearing an orange construction T-shirt with a yellow x across the chest, faded blue jeans and brown work boots.
