Attempted Robbery at Pita Pit and Other Weekend Crimes

On July 12, 2014 officers responded to a break and enter in the 300 block of John Street. Two males entered a residence and stole electronic equipment and DVD’S. The K-9 unit attended but was not successful in apprehending the two suspects.

Electronic stolen
A break and enter was reported in the 40 block of Henrietta Avenue. The culprit (s) entered the residence and removed a Samsung Tablet and a DVD player.

No Cash For You!
On July 12, 2014 a lone male entered the Pita Pit on Queen Street East. The male was masked. The male attempted to rob the attendant. After trying to get into the cash register, without success the male fled the area on foot.
