This week’s Band of the Week is Dorian Grey. The band consists of Ron McLean on lead guitar, John Villeneuve on rhythm guitar and vocals, Joe Miceli on drums and vocals, and Bill Judd on bass and vocals and not related to the famous Judd family.
This weekend they are appearing at the new Reggie’s West. They have been together for a couple of years and have accumulated quite a bit of a fan base. The band’s name is derived from the novel Dorian Grey. In the novel, a gentleman has a portrait done of himself and as time passes on, the image in the portrait ages but the gentleman does not. Joe tells us that that is the same as the band, the band ages but the music stays the same.
Reggie’s West took over from the old Roosevelt Hotel on Korah Road not too long ago and has completely redone the place along with the menu. It now offers an all you can eat fish fry on Fridays, 20c wings on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Saturdays, meat draws, live entertainment on Friday and Saturday and karaoke on Wednesday and Sunday. Take time to go and enjoy a meal and entertainment.
