As first reported by Saultonline.com, a new A&W is planned for Great Northern Road. Demolition of the former Personal Touch Auto building began yesterday to make way for the new construction.
Personal Touch Auto relocated down the street a few months ago. This will be the second A&W on the strip.
Several other developments are in the works along Great Northern Road. The former Honda dealership building has been sold – we hear a new business is going in there. Great Lakes Honda moved and re purposed the former Boston’s Motors building on Pim Street. Pets Smart on Second Line will be opening soon.
The former Verne’s Hardware building was recently renovated to house Medigas Healthcare.
The new A&W is expected to open later this year.
