On the 18 July 2014 City Police attended for a disturbance in the 1600 block of Wellington St East.
On arrival, police were met by an intoxicated male who berated them with insults and was very aggressive wanting to fight with the police and his neighbours.
Despite repeated warnings the man refused to calm down and go back into his residence. He was taken into custody for breach of the peace as it was felt if police left the area the man would continue his behaviour and a confrontation with his neighbours would be inevitable.
