It started out on the chilly side as the Annual G. Marconi Society Italian Festival got underway Sunday at the Marconi Club, but it quickly warmed up with great food, music and friends gathering. In fact, that’s what makes the festival such a success year after year, decade after decade, you feel like you’re at a friend’s outdoor party.
“Italians, we like to party!” Vince Vernalli, President of the Marconi Society told Saultonline.com “It’s the people, it’s all about the people and the food”
The day started at 1pm, with music and food favs, like pizza, porketta and sausage on a bun along with all sorts of traditional Italian baking. The evening ends with live entertainment and a full course meal inside the Marconi Club.
