Items Stolen Over The Weekend

Sault Ste. Marie City Police responded to several break and enters over the weekend

On the 4th of July shortly after 2 pm a homeowner on Old Highway 17 North returned home to discover their residence had been broken into earlier in the day. Items taken include a 50 inch Samsung television, an X-box with two controllers, Puma hats and a small amount of change.

On the 4th of July shortly after 5 pm a homeowner on Salisbury Avenue reported a break and enter to the residence. A LG flat screen television was taken.

On the 4th of July shortly before 9 pm a homeowner in the 200 block of Lake Street reported a break and enter. A Samsung dvd player was taken.

On the 5th of July a garage was entered on Cooper Street and a Husqvarna chainsaw and a cordless drill were taken.

On the 6th of July around 2 am there was an attempt break in at the Armouries on Pine Street but the suspect was scared off. The suspect was a male approximately 5 foot 8 inches tall, unshaven, with dark coloured hair, He was wearing baggie blue jeans and a dark hoodie.

Thefts from vehicles were reported on Dauphin Drive, Central Creek, Woodhurst Drive and Cooper Street. Items taken include change, lottery tickets, and an Ipod shuffle.
