Last Minute Ticket Wins Rotaryfest Draw

A last minute decision to buy a second ticket on the Rotaryfest draw payed off for a retired steel worker in the Sault.

The Rotaryfest draw – which almost sold out Saturday night was drawn as the three day summer festival came to a close Saturday night. Robert Doan decided to buy a second ticket with just a few hours left before the draw.

The winner can choose two of four vehicles or $75,000 cash. Doan decided on the cash. The winning ticket number was 13345
