On the 6th of July at approximately 12:15 a.m city police were called to Mac Mart at 655 Wellington St West for an armed robbery.
Investigation revealed that a lone male entered the store, brandished a knife to the clerk and demanded money. The male left on foot from the store with approximately $160.00 from the till.
Responding officers located the male on Lyons Ave. and was subsequently arrested. Charged with robbery and breach of probation is Gordon Leonard of 203 Goulais Ave. He is now scheduled to appear in court on August 11 2014.
