On the 16 July 2014 at approximately 8 pm officers from Patrol Services responded to a motor vehicle collision on Great Northern Rd.
Investigation revealed that a pickup truck pulled out from Oryme Ave. causing a motorcycle that was headed southbound to brake suddenly. This action resulted in the driver rolling away from the motorcycle. The motorcycle continued to travel southbound without a driver and collided with a northbound vehicle.
The driver of the pickup truck has been charged under the Highway Traffic Act.
