Another new eatery has sprung to life in Sault Ste. Marie. The Gateway Grill & Beverage Company silently opened their doors about five weeks ago in the Station Mall in the former U-Betcha location and plan a big bash Saturday to celebrate.
You can catch live entertainment from 9pm to 1am Saturday.
The restaurant and bar brings back a full service , sit down restaurant back to the Station Mall after about a 2 year period.
Joey Calzones briefly re-located to the location but closed about a year later. Since then mall patrons could grab a bite in the food court.
Gateway Grill & Beverage Co. offers the traditional pub food from fish n chips on Friday, plus burgers , sandwiches and appetizers in a modern “pub” atmosphere. It’s a great place for a quiet lunch or night out.
Owned and operated by two long time restauranteurs. Pat Rosso former owner of U-Betcha and Mike Perlini from the Ice Breaker Lounger at the Pee Wee.
