During a trip to the local Farmer’s Market at the Pavilion, I took the opportunity to speak to some local growers and some buyers.
According to Jennie Pearce, an organic farmer, sales have been just as good and maybe even better since the opening of the new Mill Market at the Sault Ste. Marie Locks. Buyers are very pleased with the local products and intend on using this sight for their purchases. The key words seem to be “locally grown.”
