On the 1 July 2014 City Police responded to a call regarding a break and enter in progress. On arrival, the officers discovered a man had broken into his ex-girlfriend’s residence. Once inside he attacked the new boyfriend and a fight ensued. The accused was on a probation order to refrain from harassing the girl from previous domestic incidents. The man was arrested and will be appearing in bail court on Wednesday morning. He is charged with break and enter and breach of probation x 2.
Assault
On the 2 July 2014 City Police responded to a 911 hang-up call on Maple St. On arrival, they were met by a very aggressive and intoxicated woman. Police learned that the female had assaulted another lady at the scene by twisting the skin on her arm until it bled. She then damaged the cell phones of two people who were trying to call the police. Charged with mischief x 2 and assault is Cher Pine (age 40) of Echo River Road. She will be appearing in bail court this morning.
Fingerprints
On the 2 July 2014 the Ontario Provincial Police stopped a vehicle on Great Northern Rd. The passenger in that vehicle was found to be wanted by the City Police for failing to appear for fingerprints. Alanie Wilson will be appearing in court on the 11 August 2014 at 9:00 AM to answer to the charge
