A Thunderous Start To One Night For You

The 3rd annual, Primavera One Night For You got off to a wet start when a big thunderstorm rolled in as the festivities started, but the rain subsided mid- afternoon and a fun day of music, food and contests with an Italian flair drew a few hundred to Bondar Pavilion Saturday.

Contestants bravely took to the mic and competed with thunder, lightning and heavy rain as they belted out their tunes.

The day started out with the Karaoke contest with  $500  up for grabs. Food from the Primavera from hamburgers and hot dogs to ravioli was readily available to keep you full during a day of entertainment.  Proceeds this year are being donated to the Canadian Diabetes Association.

A “Miss One Night For You Contest” followed with another $500 prize to the winner from 20 contestants.

Live entertainment with Fabio Trioli ushered in the evening entertainment along with local band Coverfly.

SaultOnline cameras arrived just as the storm was rolling in and the Karaoke contest was kicking off – watch the video!
