It is with great sorrow that the family announces the sudden passing of Ralph on Tuesday, July 1, 2014.
Survived by his partner Sharon Setchell. Father of Judith Biocchi (Terry) and Kim Fragomeni (Marcel), and Judith and Kim’s mother Jean Welt. Grandfather of Christopher, Ryan and Samantha Biocchi and Matthew and Alexandra Fragomeni. Fondly remembered by Sharon’s daughter Nicole and her children Micheline and Chloe. Ralph was the son of the late Orie Welt and the late Muriel Scott (Ernie), brother to Dorris (John), late Marlene (late Vernon), late Donna, late Carl (Shirley) and the late Marj (Stan).
Ralph served in the Royal Canadian Navy for 10 years (HMCS Haida) and retired as an Electrical General Foreman after 34 years at Algoma Steel. Shortly after retiring he went back as a consultant for 4 years in and out of the plant and being involved with the OLG Casino. Being a very talented woodworker you could always find him in his workshop. In keeping with Ralph’s wishes cremation has taken place. Ralph and his four legged best friend Bobbi are now reunited.
Memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
