Each of the last eight years friends , family, and co-workers of the late Cst. Don Doucet have gathered at area golf courses and competed in a charity golf event in his honour. All funds raised by this event are put back into our community in the form of bursaries to youth through the Don Doucet Memorial Scholarship Fund. To date $40,000 has been distributed.
This year’s event is scheduled for Thursday September the 4th at The Crossings in Sault Ste. Marie Michigan. Cost is $130 Canadian per player and includes driving range, cart, golf, on course special events, dinner, awards ceremony, raffles, and a chance at the 50/50 draw.
