Crime Stoppers and the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service need the public’s help to solve a break and enter.
Sometime between 9:00 pm Wednesday, 09 July 2014 and Thursday morning the Canadian Kidney Trust business located on Bruce Street was broken into.
Entry was gained by spinning the deadbolt on the front door to gain access into the building.
An HP 15 “laptop computer, a Dell 21” monitor and two cell phones were stolen. Keys for two cube vans were also taken.
This type of theft affects charitable organizations in more than one way. There is the financial loss of needed equipment and the added expense of increased security.
For every crime committed, someone other than the criminal may have information to help solve the crime and make Sault Ste. Marie and Algoma District a safer place.
