You might want to consider taking an alternate route if you are heading up towards the 2nd Line – Great Northern Road intersection tonight. At 10:30pm both Eastbound and Westbound lanes of 2nd Line East at Great Northern Road are closed with Police Traffic Services on scene. North and Southbound, straight through traffic, on Great Northern Road has been reduced to one lane in either direction.
I’m sure there will be many happy commuters once the resurfacing of this busy area is completed. As always, please use extra care when driving through construction zones.
